The feedback below is from some previous parties and events I provided entertainment for
Steve has been our source of entertainment on New Year’s Eve for many a year.
This year many members new and old came out to support the event. It’s the best one I’ve seen in years with members participating in the songs played by Steve.
He is thoroughly professional and listens to all views from our members and we would like to thank him for all his hard work on NYE.

“I booked Steve for my 16th birthday party, and it was great! We had a lot of trouble finding someone who could run karaoke for us, but I’m very glad we found Steve- he helped us to run a Kahoot quiz, and also gave advice during the party on how to keep it running smoothly. After the party, I even had a few of my friends ask for his website- everything was very impressive, from the lighting to the actual running of the event.

“I booked SteveXP for my wedding. We spoke several times in the months leading up to the day, where he ensured we’d covered everything I needed/wanted him to do.
He arrived on time and set up all his equipment in the time allocated. He was very accommodating, especially with COVID restrictions; having to split the day in two; and the England EURO final unexpectedly happening on the same night as the reception. Steve managed to allievate my stress by liaising with the venue and setting up a screen & projector so we could show the football. The sound and picture quality was amazing and the guests loved watching the match on a 100 inch screen!
Steve played all the songs I asked him to and coordinated our ‘entrance music’, ‘wedding breakfast playlist’, ‘cutting of the cake’, and ‘first dance’ at the times I’d communicated to him in my running order.
He made the whole process so much more enjoyable and really took all my stresses away. I will definitely use him for any events in the future.

Brilliant play list exactly what we wanted. Fab mixing – too many people think they can be a DJ these days and don’t understand the art of transitioning between songs. I booked Steve for my 30th birthday party. I gave him a playlist with a few songs I wanted playing and asked him to include some cheesy pop, 80’s and R&B tracks he liked too. I was really pleased with all the tracks he chose to play. Steve had a complete set up of lights, lasers and a haze machine which made the room look amazing. He was extremely professional and received lots of praise from my guests. He was very reasonably priced too! I will definitely use SteveXP for all my future DJing needs. I can’t fault him 😀

Fantastic DJ, very professional, great variety of music and we also had karaoke (great touch putting up names of party goers with songs on the screen). We also had the odd song sung by the DJ which was fun.

“We booked SteveXP for our recent school Halloween disco. He arrived early to set up, and created a ‘safe zone’ using benches etc to avoid any children from tripping or bumping into his equipment. We had a KS1 disco for the younger children followed by a KS2 disco for the older children!
I can’t believe how much interaction Steve had with the kids. Playing games, up to date music, dance routines etc. Instead of our usual kids running round for an hour type disco … It was a controlled, fun and really enjoyable disco. Compliments from lots of parents on how good he was. Kids loved it, adults loved it… And we will definitely be booking again.”

“I requested the services of SteveXP for my 40th birthday party, although I was not given a direct referral I decided to use SteveXP based on previous feedback detailed on their website. I was not disappointed, they were totally professional in all aspects.
They arrived early to assess the location, set up promptly and located all equipment safely and convenient to the venue. The music was exactly what we asked for and pitched at the right level for our guests and requirements, they even made sure specific songs were available when requested by email before hand.
The added twist of Karaoke was brilliant with a portfolio of thousands of songs, people still comment on how funny and enjoyable this was.

SteveXP were very helpful and professional right from the start. Once the party started, they entertained the 20 children completely – there was not one child sitting down (even the parents got involved)! “I contacted SteveXP Disco & Karaoke for my son’s 10th Birthday Party, having sourced them from the Internet. It was interesting as very few Disco services offer a specific “Children’s Party Package” which is why, of course, they caught my eye.
Obviously, any parent will be concerned, having not used a service previously, as to whether they will be any good as it was so key to the Party going smoothly! However, I needn’t have worried. They were absolutely outstanding and frankly, anyone who can literally have thirty 10 to 12 year olds eating out of their hands for 3 hours, needs a medal!
They combined music, party games and karaoke with prolific handing out of prizes (all part of the cost) and the kids had a fantastic time with not one refusing to join in the fun – a great achievement!
We have already approached SteveXP for an up and coming function for my son’s football team and look forward to working with them again.
